Last weekend, roller coaster club members and enthusiasts drove [and flew] from all over the United States to Santa Claus, Indiana. It was time for Holiday World’s annual epic roller coaster event, HoliWood Nights! Great rides! ERT! Great people! Great food! Better than expected weather! This event was jam-packed with a little bit of everything. If you are a fan of wood roller coasters or launched wing coasters, this event offers plenty of ERT time – most enthusiasts love this event for its night ride opportunities. Night rides on Voyage and Thunderbird are experiences all big coaster enthusiasts should enjoy at least twice, and the HoliWood Nights event is the perfect opportunity for this! In addition to the ERT, the event provides some food and snacks as well as a great walk back tour of Voyage and Thunderbird. Enthusiasts get to go places in the park where few people can and see these amazing rides from a unique angle.
First Impressions
The event is filled with so many great perks, and the price for the event is just right. Ultimately, the coaster enthusiast gets great value for his or her money! All in all, the event is spectacular. The 2015 edition was our first, but it certainly will not be our last! We hope to see you out there in 2016!
